Policy Analysis

Following the guidance of NCUA rule 703 and state regulations, we will review your Investment Policy Statement.  Depending on the adequacy of its content, we will update your policy to better fit your investment strategies as approved by your board to meet supervisory compliance.  Also, we will draft or update investment provisions according to any restrictions the board may impose: i.e., final maturities, duration, exposure to mortgage-backed, etc.

We realize that levels of investment sophistication vary across credit unions as well as their boards.  There is no "cookie-cutter" Investment Policy Statement that fits all scenarios.  Our goal is to have all parties involved - CEO, board, ALM committee - in agreement on all facets of a new or revised Investment Policy Statement.  This is the foundation of a successful investment portfolio.
